In his first season competing in the event, and still as only an Under 17 athlete, Onyeka Okoh continues to break records in the 400m Hurdles! Competing for GB Juniors at the Manchester International yesterday, Onyeka broke not only his own club U17M record, but also claimed the Senior club record, with a time of 54.07, coming in second in the Junior Men's event behind only an U20 athlete, and shaving almost a full second off his previous PB!
Also competing for GB Juniors was Lola Kuponiyi - and she also claimed a second place, in the Junior Women's Shot - with Jess Hopkins, competing for England in the same event, in third place.
Seb Clatworthy made it FOUR Chelmsford AC athletes competing at this prestigious event, as he took third place in the Junior Men's High Jump, competing for Wales.
Lily Parris would have made it five from Chelmsford, but was jetting off to the US to start University.
