Essex Athletics staged their Veterans Cross Country Championships on the Writtle College course on Saturday, and although Chelmsford were unable to field full teams in any of the three races, they were to pick up individual medals.
In the V40-49 event David Fewell took the honours as he led the field home, with Nick Hunter our only other competitor, placing 33rd.
The V50 age group saw David Tullett placing 12th overall, but in 4th spot for the Over 55's, whilst older brother Peter - 23rd overall - came in for the Silver medal for the Over 60's category.
It was also a Silver for Rebecca Luxton in the Womens event, whilst Wendy King, as sixth overall finisher won the Over 50's category.
