Despite five athletes competing with distinction at the English Indoor championships in Sheffield, we were still able to take a good haul of medals at the Essex & Eastern Region Championships at the Lee Valley Centre, with 12 first places, 9 seconds and 5 thirds. Numerous of the athletes were to go home well satisfied having achieved personal bests.
