Our youngsters continued the dominant form shown in last months league meeting with three wins and a second place at the county championship meeting, staged in the new venue of South Weald Country Park.
Repeating their success at Hockley, the Under 13 girls took both sets of gold and silver medals, with Amelia Shipton, Ezrah Harrold and Daisy Stollery in the A team, and Hetty Harrison, Niamh and Harriet Williams the B team. Daisy also had the distinction of running the fastest time for the event.
At Under 15 level the team, comprising Sienna Shipton, Holly Appleton and Kayleigh Atkinson, also came through to take pole position, with Kayleigh recording the best time. Worthy of note in this category, Jemimah Knightsbridge of the B team was placed second on the opening stage.
Moving to the boys events and the Under 17's took the lead on the first stage through Will Steadman, and stayed there, with Joseph Perry and William Nuttall, to bring them home clear of Southend.
With the Under 15's it was to be second place and silver medals for Ethan O`Brien, Joshua Eide and Jacob Parrott.
